Terms and Conditions and Return Policy

Welcome to CaptainPilot Training Solutions (“CaptainPilot,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our website (www.captainpilot.com),
the CaptainPilot mobile application, and all related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of Services

CaptainPilot provides Aviation English training modules, proficiency tests, pilot communication training, and community features for pilots and air traffic controllers.

By using the Services, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old,

  • You will use the Services only for lawful and permitted purposes,

  • You will comply with all applicable aviation and communication regulations.

2. Accounts and Membership

To access paid programs and training content, you must create a CaptainPilot account.

By creating an account, you agree that:

  • You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.

  • You will not share your account with others.

  • Memberships, courses, and private sessions are personal and non-transferable.

  • You will notify us immediately of any unauthorized account activity.

3. Payments and Subscriptions (Updated for Apple & Google IAP Compliance)

CaptainPilot offers digital courses, memberships, and training tools through:

  • The CaptainPilot mobile app (in-app purchases)

  • The CaptainPilot website (online checkout)

3.1 In-App Purchases (IAP)

For purchases made inside the mobile app:

  • All payments are processed exclusively through the Apple App Store or Google Play.

  • CaptainPilot does not store, process, or access your payment information.

  • Pricing, renewals, and refunds are governed by the rules of the App Store used at checkout.

  • Subscription plans (Gold, Platinum, and others) may renew automatically.

  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions directly from your App Store or Google Play account settings.

3.2 Website Purchases

If you purchase programs on www.captainpilot.com:

  • Payment is processed through secure third-party gateways.

  • Website purchases are subject to website billing policies.

  • Website purchases cannot be managed through Apple or Google systems.

  • Refund rules for website purchases differ from in-app purchase rules.

4. Return & Refund Policy (Preserved as Requested)

At CaptainPilot, we are committed to providing the highest-quality educational materials.
By purchasing our programs or videos, you agree that refunds will only be issued under valid and documented circumstances.

4.1 Refund Period

You may request a full refund within 12 hours of the purchase date and time.

To request a refund:

All sales are final after 12 hours, and no refunds or adjustments will be made beyond this period.

4.2 Valid Reasons for Refund

Refunds will be issued only when:

  • The purchased content was inaccessible due to verified technical issues,

  • The issue is reported within the 12-hour window,

  • The problem is confirmed by CaptainPilot technical support,

  • Supporting documentation (screenshots, error messages, receipts) is provided.

Refunds will NOT be issued for:

  • Change of mind,

  • Voluntary cancellation after access is granted,

  • Partial completion or limited use of the program,

  • Personal schedule issues unrelated to technical problems.

4.3 Review and Approval

All refund requests are reviewed by CaptainPilot.
If approved, digital access to the program will be revoked.
You will receive an email confirmation of approval or denial.

4.4 Processing Time

Refunds may take up to 15 business days to appear on your statement.

4.5 Customer Satisfaction

After the 12-hour refund window, you may still contact support for assistance,
but no refunds can be provided after the valid refund period.

⚠️ App Store & Google Play Purchases

For purchases made via Apple or Google:

Refunds must be requested directly through the respective app store,
and are subject to that store’s refund policies.

5. Intellectual Property

All training materials, modules, videos, tests, and platform content are the intellectual property of CaptainPilot or its licensors.

You may not:

  • Copy

  • Distribute

  • Reproduce

  • Modify

  • Resell

any CaptainPilot content without prior written permission.

6. User-Submitted Content

Users may submit comments, files, images, or text through the platform.

By submitting content, you confirm:

  • You hold the rights to that content,

  • Your content does not violate laws or third-party rights.

CaptainPilot may remove content that violates copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, or these Terms.

7. Termination

CaptainPilot reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Misuse the platform,

  • Violate these Terms,

  • Engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify CaptainPilot against claims arising from:

  • Your use of the Services,

  • Your violation of these Terms,

  • Any third-party claims related to your actions.

9. Limitation of Liability

CaptainPilot is not liable for:

  • Indirect or incidental damages,

  • Loss of data, revenue, or profits.

All Services are provided “as is” without warranties.
ICAO level evaluations provided within the app are educational only and do not represent official certification.

10. Modifications to These Terms

CaptainPilot may update these Terms at any time.
Updated versions will be posted with a new “Last Updated” date.
Continued use of the Services signifies acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey.
In case of disputes, the Antalya Courts and Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction.

12. Privacy & Data Protection

CaptainPilot manages personal data according to our official Privacy Policy.
By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and accepted the Privacy Policy.

14. Policy Compliance Statement (Updated for App Store & Google Play)

The CaptainPilot mobile app supports in-app purchases for digital training programs.
All app purchases are processed securely through the Apple App Store or Google Play.
The app does not process card information or external payments directly.

Website purchases follow separate billing and refund rules.

The app remains fully compliant with Apple and Google policies regarding:

  • In-app payment processing

  • Subscription management

  • External purchase restrictions

  • Data protection requirements
